Our commitment

Augusta Rule Packet Builder is committed to making the Service usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and to follow the practical guidance behind Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

What we've done

• Semantic HTML with proper landmarks (<header>, <main>, <nav>, <footer>) and a logical heading order.
• A "Skip to main content" link for keyboard and screen-reader users.
• Color contrast that meets WCAG AA in our design tokens.
• All interactive controls reachable and operable by keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
• Form fields with associated labels and clear error/validation messaging.
• Live-region announcements for dynamic validation messages in the packet wizard.
• Mobile tap targets of at least 44×44 px for primary actions.
• Built on accessible UI primitives (Radix UI / shadcn) with correct ARIA roles, states, and focus management.
• Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting in your operating system.
• A language declaration (lang="en") on the document.

Known limitations

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. There may be areas of the Service that do not yet fully meet our goal — for example, complex multi-step forms, generated packet documents, or third-party embeds. We work to identify and resolve these issues as we become aware of them.

Compatibility

The Service is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and common assistive technologies, including screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS, and browser zoom up to 200%.

Reporting an accessibility issue

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or if you need information from the Service in an alternative format, please contact us. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.

When reporting, please include the page URL, a description of the issue, and the browser and assistive technology you were using, so we can reproduce and address it quickly.
